Books are a HUGE part of our home. I grew up reading all types of books and would have at least one with me everywhere I went. Being a mom, that has changed a little bit. I don’t have as much time to read on my own but I do get to explore amazing stories with my children. We have shelves and books all over the house!
We are based in Nova Scotia so I wanted to focus on Mi’kmaq culture. I highly suggest you go www.native-lands.ca to find out about the different First Nation communities in your area. I also wanted to also note that some books may cross over into being focused on all of North America.
